Through Lorena's eight years in various healthcare settings, we've witnessed firsthand the quiet loneliness that often shadows our elders. We've seen the light in their eyes when genuine connection breaks through—and the darkness when it's absent.

Meanwhile, Juan's thirteen years in software engineering revealed technology's dual nature: its power to unite but also to isolate. As artificial intelligence advanced, we asked ourselves a crucial question: How can we harness these innovations to nurture human connection rather than replace it?
